Does it hurt?
Pain is tolerable and has never stopped a patient from completing their treatment.
How many sessions will I need?
Each scar is different and requires a personalized approach. After your assessment, we'll provide a full plan with an estimated timeline based on your needs, the complexity of your scar, and your skin type.
Will my scar disappear completely?
Scars don't disappear completely, but they become less visible and less defining. All of my patients feel better in their own skin after treatment.
How long until I see results?
Usually, between the second and fourth sessions, you start to see progress, but it's very important to remember that each skin story is unique and each body responds differently to treatment. We will guide you through it every step of the way.
Is camouflage permanent?
Camouflage, whatever the scar, is a semi-permanent solution and will require future retouching to maintain its appearance.

How long after surgery should I wait before starting?
To start the restoration work or the 3D tattoo, you must wait 12 months after surgery. This allows for the scar to mature completely.
Does it hurt, especially after reconstruction or with reduced sensation?
Pain is tolerable, and we don't recommend topical anesthesia because it reduces ink retention, which puts your results in jeopardy.
How realistic does 3D areola tattooing actually look?
Each case is different and depends on several factors, all of which are considered and discussed during our first in-person visit.
Can you work over scar tissue or grafted skin?
Yes, we usually work on necrotic or scarred tissue and grafted skin.
